Is information technology even possible for a Blizz sorc to kill D-Clone?

I know, Diablo Clone is 95% resistant to all, and all that jazz. I also know I could sign in with my friend's Zeal/Smiter and kill him in about 5 seconds. Just I'm kind of interested in the challenge, I but want to know if information technology'southward possible.

I play Hardcore exclusively, and my sorc is a level 89 Blizz sorc has pretty decent gear. I'm just curious if any of you have done information technology, and if it's worth trying with a tricked out Blizz sorc in HC.

I dented him a few times with my TK/Orb build. I got him down to ii/3 life and just got tired playing for the night so I had someone bring in their smiter/hammerdin.

Information technology should be possible, just every bit you said, challenging.

If you shop a lifetap wand, and have a merc worth his table salt, then you should be merely fine.

I'm thinking something like reapers cost , Gface and treachory armor. Stand out of the fray and wait for the long battle while dropping Blizz's on D's head.

Cold sorcie would practice well since the -resist volition aid a lot. Lightning sorcies merely stand up a chance with infinity.

If yous use a merc I recommend equipping him with a piece of %slow and/or reapers toll for decrepify to keep him alive.

I've killed diablo clone with a total tal meteorb sorceress.

Could've had a lot better time if merc was ameliorate equipped with bonehew guillaum'south all that jazz, just still managable.

Common cold is much meliorate compared to other elemental from sorc, to slay clone.

If y'all accept a cold mastery of lvl 16

with

items, you will be attacking DC with 0% cold res. If you get a lvl 36 cold mastery yous will be attacking DC with -100% cold res.

i have experience of killing dc with a light sorc in a 3ppl game, and i retrieve blizz sorc can do the same

i killed dclone with a barb wearing a cracked dagger with a flawless emerald in information technology.

okok, it was actually my merc who killed him. I merely prevented his regen with that poisondagger. Information technology was my goldfindbarb with a forti/guillaume/ botd merc.

Hmm, well cheers for the replies guys, this is encouraging.

My merc uses an eth Insight Colossus Voulge, Andariel's Visage (xxx% Fire Resist/+six Strength Jewel) and a 219% Eth Upped Shaftstop (Cham for CBF). I doubtable that he won't accept any issues if I make sure the big guy has life tap via a wand.

The sorc was simply built for Countess/Andy/Cows/Mausoleum/Meph/Pindle/Summoner so she is pure blizz, level 35 and 35 mastery (with torch & anni and two charms). The synergies aren't all maxed (except Ice Blast, or whatever it is).

I'1000 going to requite information technology a attempt the next time I hear of a diablo clone about to spawn. Thanks!

I suggest you put Guillaume'southward Confront on your merc, to brand things faster. Later on, when CB becomes ineffective, you tin can switch out to Andy Confront, of course.

Also, never forget to either have a source of PMH (Preclude Monster Heal) or poisonous substance/OW (Open Wounds). The Big D regenerates a few thousand health per second, so it'southward a practiced idea to brand him stop doing that. Beware, though, PMH does non piece of work on a mercenary, and then you lot may accept to utilize a Mal-Eth-Eth-Eth bow or something. You only demand to hit the Large D once with PMH. Uh-huh. Unless yous have some source of -% lres (Infinity, Griffon's, facets, LR wand), Static works very unefficiently. The reason is that Static is affected by lres of a monster. Big D has 95% allres, and that means that static is but 1/20th every bit effective.

(I may be wrong well-nigh static and resists, could someone confirm please?)
